Mike Hobbs
Mike Hobbs, PGA Professional
Mike has been coaching golf for over 30 years and is one of South Wales’ most respected and popular professionals. A familiar face in the local golf community, Mike began his journey as a junior at Fairwood Golf Club and has since built a reputation for his patient, down-to-earth style and genuine care for every player he coaches.
His approach is simple: keep it clear, make it fun and ensure every lesson ends with a plan. Mike has a natural ability to break the game down into manageable, easy-to-understand steps, something his clients really value. He’s known for his kindness, sense of humour, and the way he puts people instantly at ease.

Gethin Collins
Gethin Collins, PGA Professional
Gethin Collins is a golf professional with a diverse background in the sport. He trained under Mark Evans at Fairwood and Langland Bay Golf Clubs, qualifying in 1998.
Gethin went on to pursue a full-time competitive golf career, moving to Sydney, Australia in 2001, where he continued to compete in golf and specialised in custom-fitting. In 2003, Gethin joined the Coaching Team at Cardiff Golf Centre and later served as Head Pro at Garnant Park (2005-2009).
In 2010, Gethin joined forces with Mike Hobbs at Gowerton Golf Range, forming Swansea Golf Lessons, which has become the busiest coaching academy in Swansea - in 2020 they expanded their partnership, jointly taking on the golfing operations at Fairwood Park Golf Club.
Gethin is passionate about golf technology and delivers lessons using video and launch monitor analysis.

Llewellyn Miller
Llewelyn Miller, PGA Professional
Llewelyn is a PGA Golf Professional based across both Gowerton Golf Range and Fairwood Park Golf Club. He has a strong philosophy to coach everyone individually as no two swings, goals or abilities are the same.
Llewelyn has both worked alongside and been taught by some of the country’s leading coaches, collecting a wealth of knowledge and experience about every aspect of the game. His enthusiasm and clear instruction have helped golfers exceed in their abilities, from beginners learning the game for the first time, to county level golfers performing at an elite level.
Passionate about the game of golf and coaching, Llewelyn always stays up to date with the ‘Modern’ game using all the necessary technology to get the best ability from each client!
